Sydney has 37 amazing beaches, but beach volleyball players can only be found in a few of them:
Coogee: 2 pemanent courts and up to 3 additional portable courts. Only CBVA members are allowed to set up courts by Randwick Council.
Maroubra: Permanent poles at the southern side. SBVS runs social leagues and training for beginner players throughout the year.
Tamarama: One of the best beaches for Volleyball in the world, due to the natural walls stopping the wind and the flat, white sands. Waverly Council allows only 4 nets here. There is no social club, nets belong to individual players.
Bondi: 3 beach volleyball portable nets are allowed at the southern end of the most famous beach of Sydney, next to the Skate Park.
Manly: 8 permanent courts, 2 with artificial lights: The most popular spot to play volleyball in Sydney. NBVA tournaments are held here.
Newport: 1 permanent court, maintained by NBVA.
Brighton: 5 permanent courts. BBVA tournaments are held here.
