Adult Squads

Our Adult Squads program is oriented towards high-performing players looking to compete regularly in state, national and international tournaments.

Information about CBVA’s Squad Programs

We offer squads throughout the year, with a different program for the summer and winter seasons.

Squads of 8 players train as a group throughout the duration of the term (this differs to Adult Training, where anyone can register to a class week to week).

Summer Program (late September through to the end of March)

Two terms of approx 10-12 weeks. The first term typically starts around the end of September, and ends around the middle of December. The second term will begin in early January, and end with the season at the end of March.

Two court sessions a week with an experienced coach.

Two levels are offered for male and female squads (AAA and AA).

Winter Program (August – September)

Preparation for the season ahead with a mix of ball work, fitness and conditioning.

One session a week for approximately 8 weeks.

One squad offered for male and female squads.

Who are squads for?

CBVA squads are designed for experienced players who are committed to training regularly, and representing CBVA at local, state, national and international level tournaments throughout the year.

Participants are expected to commit for the duration of the term.

How do I join the Squads?

Inclusion into the squads is done through a selection process, where a number of factors are given consideration. More details on the selection criteria will follow.

CBVA will send out communications to all members informing them of upcoming selection periods ahead of the squad terms commencing.

Players who are successful in being selected for squads will be sent a booking and payment link.
